Pregnancy Now & Then

So I couldn't help but peak at some of my old photos when I was pregnant with Adeline. It was a little crazy because as this one was starting out I didn't notice much of a difference in the growth. But that was probably because I was to sick to even want to eat anything. But once my appetite came back, I seemed to have grown quite fast.

Here is a picture of when I was pregnant with AddieThis was in Disney World at 30 weeks.

This is a picture NOW of Baby girl #2 at 30 wks, almost 31

See a difference? Now keep in mind that I was def wearing less clothing at the top one because we were in HOT sunny Orlando. This is now a pic of me in the winter with a sweater and one of the coldest weekends yet this year! But even with that being the case, I still see a difference in the shape, position, and obviously growth. This picture kinda makes me look like I am about to go in labor! How much more can I grow? lol

But yes, in general both pregnancies have been completely different. I was more sick and tired this time, and chasing around a 1 year old was not helping much. I thought I was going to believe that when you are more sick in one pregnancy that means the other would be a different sex. But nope! I was wrong. I have felt completely different, and we are welcoming another beautiful girl.... Ruby Grace Lowe....Unless of course she comes out as a flaming redhead we might have to change her name to the other couple we were thinking of. But so far that is our decision. How fun is it to name your children after different songs?! Especially in our little musician family. I think Addie is already becoming a lover of music. ;-)

Christmas

Waking up with a smile

She LOVES balls and actually could tell what it was even when it was wrapped. Pointed saying "ball ball"

Starting to get the point of opening presents.
What a fun morning!

The Season is Here

Christmas Eve is tomorrow. I cannot even believe that this will be my little munchkin's second Christmas!

Last Year she was lying down, or being held up sitting with pillows and just staring at the lights on our tree.
This year, all though, we have the tiniest table tree ever, she tries to pull the ornaments off and throw them!
Last year, she was afraid of so many people besides mommy and daddy. This year, she becomes best buddies with other people!
Last year she was still drinking a bottle or from mommy. This year, she walks around the house repeatedly saying "Cookie!" or "At!"(Eat), and stuffs way too many pieces of food in her mouth.
Last year Mommy was cute and skinny. This year, I gained a whole other baby on my body and wabble around!

I could go on and on. But that might just have to wait for all the parties and festivities to happen tomorrow and Friday.

I am so blessed and in love with my little first born baby girl! She has brought so much joy into our lives, even as this year has become so much tougher with just making a living since Jared left his second job/ministry. But we are so thankful for what God has given to us even in the midst of that.

Thanksgiving in Maine

Spending time with Pawpaw during breakfast

Once again, she LOVED the dogs, and decided to chill out in their beds

With Brutus.
She loved getting licked in the face! Eww..

So this was our fun week! She is getting sooo smart! She knows what different objects are, and she babbles like there is no tomorrow! She musta got that from her daddy because mommy isn't much of a talker. We miss the fam from WV and hope to be able to see them more than just once a year. God will work out His plans.

The Start of Thankgiving week

Look at those teeth!

Addie's new words:
"Puppy"
"Shoe"
"Mommy"
"Cookie"
"Cracker"

This week has been fun so far with the fam. They arrived on Thursday night and left for Maine to Grampa's yesterday. When Jared gets home from work we are on our way to Maine as well to spend Thanksgiving.

Addie had fun with Grammy and Pawpaw and her aunties. She decided that her favorite toys now are her books, thanks to all of them spending the weekend reading to her. She is going to be a smart little girl. She loves giving kisses now and imatating what everyone else does. We'll make a letter sound and she will try doing it as well. I am hoping to get a new camera soon instead of taking all these pics with my phone. That way I can update on how much the little cutie is growing.

Addie's New Sibling

We are having another little baby GIRL!

What a shocker. hehe I kinda thought it might be. I am very excited that Addie will have a best friend sister to play dolls and dress up with. This child was so incredibly active during the ultrasound that it took forever! Flipping and doing jump and jacks, and everything else. Poor Jared, this will be another house full of girls for awhile lol. Not like hes already used to it with 4 younger sisters and all...

This weekend we are very excited to see Jared's family come up to visit from WV for Thanksgiving. We are all going to sqeeze in our apartment somehow, but we are so excited to introduce them to their 1 year old granddaughter. They have not seen Adeline since LAST Thanksgiving when she was so little. She has grown so fast! And they will be able to see that. So hurray to an exciting week of baby and family. Just please pray for me if you think of it because I have been sick with this nasty cough/cold/sore throat, and Jared has caught some of it too...so I haven't had much of a talking voice in the last few days. This just seems to keep lingering. And no, its not H1N1; I have had no fever or muscle aches involved at all. Just pray that I will be better for this coming week and that no one else will get sick. We need to have time to enjoy our holiday and being sick can make it hard.
